Foundation Fellowship of Greenville

"Where it is all about Jesus"

Welcome to Foundation Fellowship of Greenville, TX!  We are establishing with the LORD's help a Calvary Chapel affiliated fellowship in Greenville, TX.

In Acts 2:42, we read that the earliest Christians "were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer" (NASB).  This passage gives us a brief outline of the nature of a church:

  • Above all a church must always remember its first love, the Lord Jesus Christ (Rev 2:1-7).

  • A church must be devoted to God's Word, the Bible, which He has magnified above His Name (Ps 138:2) and promised that it will never return unto Him without accomplishing His goals (Isa 55:11).  Therefore, we are devoted to teaching all of God's Word.

  • A church must be devoted to fellowship.

    • This fellowship is first and foremost with God as we worship by giving ourselves to Him (Rom 12:1).

    • This fellowship is also with each other as we become a committed community in Christ's love (John 17).

  • A church celebrates the death of Christ for our sins until He comes again by breaking bread in the Lord's Supper.

  • A church must be devoted to prayer.

This is the kind of fellowship that we desire to be.  Our vision is to reach out to all ages, ethnic groups, and walks of life with the love of God.  We hold services at the YMCA at 1915 Stanford Street, Greenville, TX 75401.  If you are looking for a church home, we welcome you to join our family.

God bless,

Dr. Hal Harless, Pastor
